Marc Alexander

Marc Alexander has worked in political advertising for over 12 years. In 2020, he worked exclusively with 76 Words as a Video and Motion Graphics Editor to create ads for both VoteVets and the Lincoln Project. He was part of the winning team that created over 40 ads, designed as a “maximum pressure” campaign, to remove Donald Trump from office. These hard-hitting ads were deployed rapidly and created specifically to maximize its reach over social media, broadcast media, and subsequently earned media. 

 

He has worked with several consulting firms over the years, most notably beginning his career as the Director of Photography on the congressional campaign of Martin Heinrich for New Mexico. To date, he has created over 800 TV and Web ads and is both a Pollie and Reed Award winner. Winning 7 Pollie Awards in 2020, including Gold for "Best Viral Video"

He credits his early work as a local News Editor for his mantra “Get it done.” 

 

Marc holds a bachelor’s degree in Television Production from Morgan State University, where he was the valedictorian of his graduating class after receiving a perfect 4.0 GPA at matriculation. He also holds a master’s degree in Film and Electronic Media from the American University in Washington D.C. 

 

He lives in Montgomery County, Maryland with his wife, three children and Boston Terrier. He enjoys fishing and the great outdoors.
